落魄的鄉鎮發廊老板劉更生，在妻子王艷花去世后陷入債務危機，被迫踏上自我救贖之路。他誤打誤撞進入一家怪異的職業學院，接受另類培訓，與性格各異的學員共同經歷荒誕又感人的成長故事。在一系列搞笑沖突與溫情時刻中，劉更生逐漸找回生活的勇氣和職業尊嚴，最終站上夢想的舞臺。這是一部充滿幽默、諷刺與勵志色彩的小人物喜劇。
